Back Pain

Western Diagnosis

Back pain can be influenced by a variety of problems within the bones, ligaments, muscles, tendons and organs of the body.

Back pain can also be the result of spinal degeneration or injury to the disks that act as cushions between the vertebrae. These disks provide protection, but over time they degenerate and can result in a herniated disk.

Other causes of back pain can include calcium deficiency, poor posture, improper footwear, heavy lifting, or chronic conditions such as arthritis and rheumatism.
